PeruseWeb 2011 enables users to view spoolfiles
Microsoft's Internet Explorer web browser. Once a user is successfully
logged on, all available jobs are displayed.
Users simply click the desired job number and the spoolfile will be
retrieved to a new Internet Explorer window that contains the entire
spoolfile.

Users logon using their Guardian UserId.
Once logged on, all available jobs are displayed. Simply click
the desired job and the entire spoolfile will be displayed in a
new browser window that is 132 characters wide.
PeruseWeb can be configured to allow users to delete spoolfiles.
Easily search for text within a spoolfile using Internet
Explorer's Find String feature (i.e. Ctrl + F).
Save spoolfiles to a PC disk as a text document (extension .txt)
or a HTML web page (extension .html).
Print the entire spoolfile or selected portions of a spoolfile to
a PC connected printer or a network printer by using the option
‘As selected on screen’ or ‘As laid out on screen’ in Internet
Explorers Print Preview dialog.
Job List columns can be sorted.
Choose from 5 different web interface styles & colors. The web
interface is 100% customizable. Each interface is described in the
PeruseWeb Product Brief.
The spoolfile Opened and Closed date and time format can be
customized according to local standards. Display time in 12 or 24
hour format. There are 18 different date formats.
The interface can be ‘branded’ to match a customer’s website, an
existing web application, or to a customers specification. One
free day of web design is included in the purchase.
Configure an AutoLogoffTimer to automatically logoff a dormant
session.
Great performance! Retrieve a 280 page spoolfile in less than 10
seconds. The spoolfile is viewable as soon as the first page is
retrieved.
No software needs to be installed on the PC!
PeruseWeb is a Guardian NSK product that only requires TCP/IP to
be installed on the server. No other hardware or software product
is required (OSS or any other web server software is required).
The number of WebSvr servers executing is configurable to insure
great user response time.
Configure up to 20 Spooler Supervisors and up to 12 archived
spoolfile server disk locations. The Job List web page can display
jobs in a specific spooler, all archive locations, or all Spoolers
and archive locations.
Archive spoolfiles using River Rock Software’s PeruseView or
TheView product.

K-Series, S-Series, Itanium, and Blade platforms are supported.
D48.03 and all later Guardian releases are supported.
TCP/IP is required
to be installed on the NonStop server.

Out of the box Styles
Peruse Web has five
different 'out of the box' user interface styles to choose from. Some
of the style attributes can be easily modified like the web page
background color. With the purchase, a new style can be customized to
be 'branded' to look like a customers web site.
