TheView 2010

TheView is a powerful state-of-the-art graphical user interface that will significantly increase productivity. It is comprised of 19 tools for frequently used subsystems (e.g. Peruse, SCF, TACL) and software programs that are not provided (e.g. File Compare Tool). Some of the important features are:

   1. TheView integrates the PC, Guardian and OSS environment providing a simple and
       consistent access solution.

   2. The Execution Window provides 256 characters wide, unlimited scrolling, 90% faster than
       emulation, and commands and their execution results can be saved day to day.

  3. Workspaces can be defined for support trouble tickets, software projects or Guardian
      UserIds. Switching workspaces will 'hide' the currently open windows and then display
      open windows in the selected workspace. This is a fantastic feature!

  4. GUI Editor with syntax color coding, over 170 edit commands, support for column delete,
      copy or add, open four panes and display data in binary, hex, octal, decimal and ASCII.

  5. Copy spoolfiles, Guardian or OSS files and the contents of tool windows directly to Word,
      Excel, Print Preview, a new edit window or an email message.

PeruseWeb 2011

PeruseWeb 2011 is a web browser application allowing users to easily view spoolfiles residing in the NonStop™ Spooler or spoolfiles that have been archived to a NonStop server disk.

Users logon using a Guardian UserId. Once logged on, spooled jobs and archived spoolfiles are displayed in a table format. Users simply select the desired job and it is retrieved. The retrieved spoolfile can be viewed, printed to a local or LAN printer (retaining page breaks), or saved to a local PC disk drive. Users can optionally delete unwanted spoolfiles.

Available for  K & S Series, Itanium and Blade platforms running D48.03 and all later Guardian releases. PeruseWeb is a NSK web application and only requires TCP/IP to be installed..

PeruseWebCM

PeruseWebCM is a web browser application allowing users to easily view spoolfiles residing in the NonStop Spooler or spoolfiles that have been archived to a NonStop disk.

Users logon using a "family name" like John or a functional group name like 'Finance' and not a Guardian UserId! The spoolfiles displayed are determined by associating Spooler attributes: Locations, Report Names, Form Names, and/or Guardian UserIds with a user's name using the Client Manager configuration product.

Report Formatter

Report Formatter enables programmers to easily create professional state-of-the-art reports using different Fonts (Courier, Times Roman, etc.), font size, text color, and line drawing. The Report Formatter is a simple to learn and it also removes the need for programmers to learn the NonStop Spooler interface.

Create new reports or redesign existing reports to produce a professional report in less than a day.
